    Health Interventions

    1. Our health interventions focus on reducing malnutrition and improving sexual and reproductive health outcomes, particularly for adolescents and youth. By integrating key messages on nutrition, Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI), and SRHR, we equip communities with the knowledge to prevent disease, make informed health choices, and adopt healthy behaviours. These efforts contribute to early detection and management of childhood illnesses, promote family planning, and support improved maternal and child health.

    Gender Mainstreaming

IMI Kenya employs a comprehensive, gender-responsive approach that strengthens couples’ decision-making and promotes positive masculinities in ASAL (Arid and Semi-Arid Lands) communities. Through gender mainstreaming and social and behaviour change (SBC) strategies, including male engagement forums, we actively challenge harmful gender norms, increase men's involvement in maternal and child health, and elevate women’s voices in household and community-level governance..
